This exciting programme began in 2013 in Stoke-on-Trent and has now begun in Telford & Wrekin too. The programme supports the wider development, language and communication skills of 0–5 year olds and increases the skill set and musical confidence of Early Years practitioners , parents and carers.
Focussed work has been carried out with thousands of children in over 50 flexible settings and many more have benefitted from training sessions.
In addition to training, the ethos of Soundpots sessions has been that an Early Years practitioner or teacher always attends and supports the session. This has been effective in embedding practice and sharing knowledge and skills with other members of staff.

The Soundpots Team were delighted to be awarded the Music Teacher Award for Excellence in 2016.
